Roles And Responsibilities
Preparation of checklist, Safe-working procedures for operations related to work.
Maintain & Control daily HSE practices with regular checks of works sites, ensure that hazards are identified, precautionary measure are taken and advice trades supervisors on HSE matters.
Regular checking of cranes, welding machines & other tools & tackles, lifting beams & belts, color coding, House keeping
Tool box talks, monitor & advice on proper application of “Permit To Work” system
Ensure protective & safety devices are in good condition & used correctly.
Safety analysis for critical operations, preparation of JSA, assists in the investigation of all accidents & injuries & follows up on near misses.
To undertake safety inductions & compile safety reports.
Coordinate & participate in the provision of HSE awareness courses.
Preparation of detailed lists of foreseeable HSE requirements for operation needs. Maintain adequate stocks of health, safety & environment equipment.
Ensure that all procedures & data pertaining to hazardous substances including radioactive sources available & those necessary precautions are observed when storing & handling.
Ensure that all plants, equipment, installations of projects, works as per HSE rules, standards & codes of practice during all phases of implementation on site.
