Project: ZF Automobiles

• Creating new part numbers for electronic components requested by design teams globally within ZF by referring to the datasheets and filling in the technical attributes and physical dimensions for the components.
• Finding the MSL (Moisture Sensitive Level) value for each component.
• Study, analyze and approve components for production process.
• Maintaining the Windchill PLM, UKPDM, and DMS database of all types of components.
• Review and implement the client’s request, supplier request change, PCN, PDN, ECR, ECO, ECN, and EOL for changes in components with the respective documentation within ZF globally.
• Processing CQM (Change Quality Matrix) AEC Q document for the PCNs for all the components, recommending the qualification tests to be performed on the components.
• Worked as SPOC(single point of contact) for contacting MFR for Queries related to components.

Parts Catalog Management (PCM)

• Creating the Part number for electrical Components by referring the ordering information provided by the Manufacturer and filling the required Technical attributes and Physical Dimensions in the PCM template tool.
• Quality Check Process for Captured Attributes of Electronic Components.
• Good Understanding of Component life cycle management. Knowledge on Different PASSIVES,ICs, DISCRETE and CONNECTERS packages.
• Updating the Captured Electrical Data from the PCM template tool to the Windchill.
• Hands-on experience in datasheet analysis to capture technical attributes for the components.
• EOL/Obsolescence Analysis- Updating the Product Discontinuation Notification (PDN) notice for the component and alerting the site.
• Updating the MSL (Moisture Sensitivity Level) and RoHS information of the Component to Windchill Database.
• Updating the parts in the Windchill with respect to the PCN alert received by the manufacturer.
• Updating the Package Orientation information to Windchill Database.

• Good experience in data processing from Datasheet and knowledge on Electronics Components. Very much qualified in IC & Dis (Diodes, Oscillators, Crystals, IC’s, Filters etc.).
• Strong domain knowledge in Data Classification, Data Capture, QC, Attribute Extraction.
• Good Understanding of product / part life cycle management.(LCM).
• Update of PCN (Product Change Notification as per Manufacturer) Customer and manufacturer request.
