Project Description:
This project is handling all types of policy Claims Management, Case Management, Financial Services, Distribution Services, Reporting Services, and Customer Management as Personal Automobiles policy or home Owner policy. It’s tracking the actual loss percentage, Reserves. It maintains all the details about of Policy and also maintain Customer, Organization, Third-party information. As part ETL team we are responsible to analyses and store data into oracle database by using Informatica tool.

Responsibilities:

• Developed the ETL program using Informatica to implement
• Business requirements for the project
• Extensively involved in Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL process) from Source to target systems
• Designed and developed Informatica mappings using
• Expression, Joiner, sorter, Aggregator, Filter, Router, Connected & Unconnected Lookup and update strategy transformation
• Created reusable mapplets/transformations embedding business logic
• Implement the SCD type1 and SCD type2 to keep track of historical data
• Worked on parametrization and Incremental loading using Mapping variables.
• Created, Scheduled and configured workflows, worklets and sessions using Informatica workflow manager.
• Determine source, target or mappings bottle necks for slow mappings.
• Monitor system integrity through daily system checks, to ensure a high standard of service is provided to clients.

Project 2 :

Domain : Retail

Environment : Informatica Power Centre 10.2, Oracle SQL Developer

Project Description: This Project is a British multinational groceries and general merchandise retailer headquartered in England. It is the third largest retailer in the world measured by gross revenues and the ninth largest in the world measured by revenues. To provide solution for this we constructed a Data Warehouse which holds the data provided by external vendors. With our solution Tesco marketing management can came up with competitive strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Created, Scheduled and configured workflows, worklets and sessions using Informatica workflow manager.
• Determine source, target or mappings bottle necks for slow mappings.
• Monitor system integrity through daily system checks, to ensure a high standard of service is provided to clients.
• Created Mappings using the transformations like Source Qualifier, Filter, Aggregator, Expression, Sorter, Joiner, Update, Lookup and Union Running the jobs for ETL process Verified column mapping between source and target tables.
• Interactions with BA & Dev teams to resolve the issues. Involved in performance tuning of Informatica mappings.
• Implemented slowly changing strategy (Type-1) to manage the data in the dimension tables.
• Created Mappings using the transformations like Source Qualifier, Filter, Aggregator, Expression, Sorter, Joiner, Update, Lookup and Union.
• Prepared and ran sql queries to verify Dimensional and Fact tables.
• Escalate issues and remediation steps effectively and in a timely manner.
