Strategy

• Key player in evaluation of various new contracts, new product introduction, pricing decisions, determining commercial model for the customer etc., with a view of increasing profitability and/or drive business growth
• Evaluate Opex and Capex proposals with respect to projects for expansion, cost reduction, improving productivity, reduction of manpower etc.

Audit & Compliance:

• Dealing with various audits, due diligence carried out by Big 4 Audit Firms (RSM ,PWC & KPMG)
• Ensure SOX compliances, Internal and audit controls.
• Drive operational efficiencies and meet internal polices and quality standards.
• Co-ordinate Statutory & Tax Audits, Compliance Audits, Internal Financial Control Audit, Transfer Pricing.
• Ensure compliances as a legal entity with respect to Companies Act, Income Tax Act.
• Ensure various local compliances like GST, Customs & CSEZ (earlier Excise and Service Tax)

Financial Planning & Management:

• Preparation of Annual Plans, Quarterly/Monthly Forecasts with periodic review of the financial performance for business with plan/forecasts.
• Review of overheads and working closely with each segment team in controlling and improving on the same.
• Working Capital management, monitoring & reviewing the inventory, collectibles & payables on regular basis. Monitoring cash flow on weekly basis.
• Building new & improving existing finance processes to ensure data integrity, efficient analysis & reduce risks

Accounting & IT/IS

• Supervising the monthly closure of accounts along with regional accounts team. Ensuring compliance to US GAAP. Consolidation & variance analysis for profitability.
• Have led the user team for upgradation of Oracle and am in-charge of Information System and ERP for the current business unit.

• Preparation of Annual Budgets for Overheads, Cost of production and monitor financial performance of the business against budgets. Working closely with each team in controlling and reducing the same.
• Supervising the timely closure of plant accounts, MIS.
• Work with commercial team in finalizing the budgeted cost of production. Reviewing and reporting the variances on monthly basis.
• Monthly tracking & reviewing the collection plans with actual.
• Managing receivables and payables.
