- Expertise in Model based design and development of thermal systems of Electric Vehicles from component level calibrations to system level.
- Currently working on digital twin models of battery pack, which includes equivalent circuit modelling, Battery thermal network based on effective discretization of cells and Effective cooling system to it.
- Cooling system modelling: Discretization of cooling plate from 3D to 1D, calibration of pump and chiller model based on performance data mapping along with the cooling circuit.
- HVAC system modelling and calibration based on data driven method (Component and system calibration).
- Implementation of control strategies to the digital twin models: Cooling logics, current control limits to BMS modelling the State of Power of the battery.
- Integration of battery cooling system model with vehicle model to study the energy consumption and range estimation.
- Experience in thermal runaway algorithm and implementation, currently building the capability on 1D modelling.
- Experience in testing of thermal design validation progress of battery packs
- Experience in parameter estimation of battery cell
