As a Technical Lead (Android), I worked on the Carpool and Bikepool app, a product that helps people share rides and bikes to reduce traffic and pollution. My main role was to build and improve the mobile experience for users, making it easy and safe to find carpool or bike pool partners.

Responsibilities:

• Designed and built features like ride matching, real-time notifications, in-app payments, and user profiles to make the app more intuitive and user-friendly.
• Integrated maps and GPS to help users find and navigate to their carpool or bikepool rides quickly and easily.
• Worked closely with the design team to ensure the app was easy to use, and visually appealing on Android devices.
• Optimized the app’s performance, making sure it loads quickly, uses minimal battery, and runs efficiently, even during heavy traffic on the platform.
• Coordinated with cross-department teams, like QA, DevOps, and Support, to ensure a seamless end-to-end software delivery process.
• Implemented continuous integration and deployment strategies for faster release cycles, and improved application reliability.

Jugnoo began as India's first auto-rickshaw aggregator with the objective of making daily commute easy and reliable.

With 10,00,000 transactions per month across 45+ cities, what began as a small company in 2014 is now spearheading the evolution of the local Indian marketplace into a Digital Reality. Jugnoo now provides a wide range of local services on-demand - Auto-Rides, Groceries, Food Delivery, Meals, Logistics and even a location-based local social network!

Responsibilities:

• Independently handled modules , scope analysis , designs , build , test the code , debug and implement Application
• Worked on customer , agent and carpool applications.
• Worked on location nearby agents with respect to the customer with the ability to navigate to the agent and call the agent location directly by using Google API's.
• In charge of the Google map features, worked closely with backend to show user's current location, along with adding markers and InfoWindow to the map
• Tested the application on multiple android targets and debugged the issues that were found.
• Responsible for the design, build, deployment, debug & maintenance of Android applications for Google play
• Fixed bugs with code, design patterns and miscellaneous occurrences during projects.
• Integrated alternate routes in goggle maps using polyline, square payment gateway, face recognition feature for drivers to go online for rides etc.
• revamp of shuttle app, also made some key features for carpool Application.
