Summary

My six years of focused experience in oncosurgery have allowed me to develop the technical skills, clinical knowledge, and patient-centered approach needed to contribute meaningfully in this challenging field.

Professional Experience and Training

After completing my general surgery training, I pursued a comprehensive three-year specialty training in Surgical Oncology at the Regional Cancer Center, Trivandrum, Kerala—the largest state-run cancer hospital in the region. The center performs an average of 12 major surgical operations daily across five operating theaters, with specialized units in Upper and Lower Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, Breast, Thoracic, Gynecological, Urologic, Bone and Soft Tissue, and Head and Neck malignancies. This rigorous training provided me with extensive exposure to complex oncologic cases and advanced surgical techniques.

Following my training, I served as a Senior Resident for an additional year in the same centre, further honing my skills in managing high-volume, high-complexity surgical oncology cases.

I am deeply committed to improving outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients, and I feel privileged to work alongside dedicated colleagues in multidisciplinary oncology teams. I strive to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in the lives of those I serve.
