Bay 4 & 5 - Standard Fabrication Operation :

• Led a process improvement initiative to eliminate the straightening operation in OHT subassemblies (Bay 5 Line - SFO) through structural evaluation and manufacturability enhancement, reducing secondary rework dependency, and improving fabrication efficiency.

• Resolved Built-in quality (BIQ) issues in OHT subassemblies within Standard Fabrication Operation (SFO) Bay by applying structured root cause analysis and corrective action implementation, strengthening first-time quality performance.

Bay 12: Hydraulic Excavator:

• Identified and corrected tolerance mismatch issue between pin and boom interface in hydraulic excavator assembly; proposed and developed Pin Pusher tool concept, improving assembly ease and reducing manual fitment variation.

• Designed and implemented a poka-yoke (error-proofing) solution using ultrasonic sensor technology to detect excess washer installation in undercarriage frame assembly of HEX 323D3, enhancing assembly accuracy and preventing field quality defects.
