Factory Operations & Industrial Accounting :

• Have managed Accounts Payable Team, with an
  annual pay out of Rs.85 Crores.
• Have managed Procurement of critical supplies with timely release of PO's.
• Finalized Annual Rate Contracts / Agreement for Scrap Customers, logistic partners, travel agents & other critical supplies.
• Supervised Routine Cash and Bank Operations, Insurance Claims & Tracking of Insurance Policies.
• Approving of Inter departmental & divisional Debit & Credit Notes.
• Inventory Control & Management.
• Computation of CAS-4 valuation for Stock Transfers.

Statutory Compliance & Audit Management :

• Ensured Timely filing of TDS/TCS returns and also
  administered controls over GST Input Tax credit
  efficacy.
• Have Independently Managed Departmental Audit by NSSO, IFC/ROMM Audit's by Statutory Auditors and Assisted Indirect Tax team in concluding departmental audit for Service Tax.

Finance Control :

• Performed month end reconciliation of Banking, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Inventory.
• Maintaining general ledger accounts by posting
  necessary journal entries to keep books of
  accounts in control.
• Preparation of Month end Finance Control Checklist file & report back to HO-Finance.
• Prepared the Schedules to profit and loss statement & Cost Variances report back on a quarterly basis.
• Performing surprise checks/due diligence, internal control review mechanism & reporting the same on a monthly basis.
• Ensure Compliance to SOP's & company's policies.

Cost Analysis & Reporting :

• Monthly Analysis of Conversion Cost w.r.t Budgets and highlighting significant gaps/risks & opportunities for cost saving.
• Have handled Factory's Local Procurement & effectively exercised Cost Control through rationalization of needs & Vendor base expansion.
• Evaluation of Capex Proposals with regards to ROI / IRR.
• Coordinating Budget preparation by providing adequate inputs & assumptions.
• Providing Cost data for Management's Decision Making in review meetings.

Process Improvements:

• As a part of process improvement initiatives have developed 3 web based application namely, Bill Query Management system, Procurement Search Engine, Travel Management system to strengthen controls and simplify user interface.

• Have Assisted in Completion of various Cost Audits & Stock Audits for key Clients like Sun TV Network, Lincon Electrics, Mahindra World City & so on during my internship period at S. Sundar & Associates.
