  • Involved in detailed design of PACS simplification features for Cardiology Unit
  • Worked as individual contributor, resolved some of critical issues.
  • Innova is floor mounted Image Guided systems for cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures in Cath lab. It has three subsystems DL (Digital Leader), RTAC and positioner. DL subsystem basically processes the medical images and provides the following major applications:
  • Patient/Image data management
  • Acquisition: acquire, process, store, display images, and optionally transmit them in real-time to a review station for real-time advanced processing.
  • Review: retrieve, process and display images
  • Import patient/exam data (worklist), and export images and data through a network (multidestination, push, storage commitment, MPPS, Dose SR).
  • RTAC captures images and sends them to DL. Positioner controls/positions gantry & table at certain angle.
  • Activities
  • Involved in detailed planning of requirements, design and testcase plans.

  • Virtualization uses software to create an abstraction layer over computer hardware that allows the hardware elements of a single computer—processors, memory, storage and more—to be divided into multiple virtual computers, commonly called virtual machines (VMs). Each VM runs its own operating system (OS) and behaves like an independent computer, even though it is running on just a portion of the actual underlying computer hardware
  • Activities
  • Development of CLI commands 'lu', 'tier' and 'pv'. 'lu' command creates logical units from a shared storage pool(SSP), lists them, deletes them, moves them across tiers, maps them to virtual SCSI adapters. 'tier' command has the capability to create, list, delete, rename multiple tiers from a SSP. 'pv' command adds, removes, lists physical volumes from tiers or failure groups.
  • Movelu feature moves the Logical Unit from one tier to other in a clustered environment. Active developer of the implementation of API as well as command line.

Software Engineer

  • The Motorola SBV5121 SURFboard Digital Voice Modem combines a DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem with an embedded multimedia telephone adapter. It delivers high speed data and IP telephony over cable’s broadband connection to the home The SBV5121 Digital Voice Modem is an intelligent way to communicate converging voice and data on one network. By combining multiple services in one unit, consumers can enjoy an efficient solution that offers many advantages over competing technologies.
  • Activities
  • Authored the Detailed Design Review Document, Software Requirement Specifications Document, and Software Test Plan Document.
