Company Overview: Project – Midapp (ABSA Bank). This project contains mainly four applications: BEM, ANE, JBPM, and AFH.

  • BEM (Branch Enterprise Middleware) is a message and service-oriented common middleware.
  • ANE (ABSA Notification Engine) is responsible for transferring messages in the form of SMS or emails to the customers.
  • JBPM (Java Business Process Model) is a back-end workflow tool procured by the Service Provider from IBM pursuant to an agreement.
  • AFH (ABSA File Handler) aims to bring all of those backend systems under one interface and provide a file handling service, align and optimize the process, and IT infrastructure/resources to maximize the benefits.
