  • I have worked in end-to-end installation and upgrading of various systems, such as HANA, ABAP, Web Dispatcher, Java, ASE, OpenText, optimization, SAC agent, DP agent, builds, etc.
  • As a disaster recovery CTC, I have been working on various DR system builds, DR testing, alerts, manual incidents, and service desk tickets.
  • Worked on various types of DR tests, such as external DR tests, fencing DR tests, and mixed HA/DR tests.
  • Coming to build expertise in handling and completing Brownfield, Greenfield builds, and Atlas systems within a limited time.
  • Expertise to resolve the issues in building and testing various types of issues in the system, such as creating an internal load balancer to enable and disable the replication during the migration time, creating Lsync, SnapMirror, CNAME-CNAME in TIC, and running the post-installation scripts to start and stop activities in LVM.
  • Validating DED before triggering from primary to DR, and at the OS level also.
  • Performing failover and failback activities during the DR, and performing readiness checks and prechecks before the DR activity.
  • I have knowledge of attending S&D calls as a SPOC, creating a maintenance planner for SD, validating DED to POA, filling DED activities, and triggering.
  • Knowledge of preparing QC Excel based on the system, upgrading and downgrading patch levels to hand over various SAP systems to minimize the downtime of the production environment.
  • Excellent communication with the team to fix the errors during the builds and testings.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Working as DR CTC, I handled the build of DR testing and the configuration of systems like database and no database solutions like HANA, Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, SAC agent, and DP agent
  • Working and closely monitoring the CDD critical systems to complete on time
  • Performing prechecks, readiness checks, checking the load balancer for HANA systems before testing to perform smoothly without errors and handover on time
  • Connecting TSM and CDM via emails to discuss the testing details
  • Performing configuration, connection, and customer test phases before testing
  • Reporting issues to the PO and OPO to avoid future tasks
  • Always have an eye for detail, looking for solutions and troubleshooting wherever applicable, instead of creating tickets to support teams
  • Very supportive and always ready to help the team members, and taking KT to the freshers
  • Creating our own task documents for various issues and sharing them with team members, which is helpful to the team in minimizing the number of tickets to support teams
  • Always working for the team instead of focusing on individual benefits, which helps in completing the system on time or before CDD
