Project:1650 TPD Sulphuric Acid Plant Project

• Led project teams through design,detail engineering,construction & commissioning of the process plant.
• Responsibilities include Identifying plans,resources,costing and budgeting required to meet project goals and objectives.
• Provide input for MDS preparation,bid Evaluation,review and approval of vendor documents and thus provide clear direction for the selection of equipment package for the Process Plant.
• Effectively negotiates contract agreements,project scope,schedule and deliverables,change orders and settle disputes equitably. Monitored contracts and service level agreements to identify potential risks and implement mitigation actions to protect development process from unforeseen delays and costs.
• Carried out regular progress monitoring, cost tracking, risk analysis and submitted relevant reports to the management.
• Scheduled and facilitated meetings between project stakeholders to discuss deliverables, schedules and conflicts.
• Provided detailed technical and operational direction in project challenges, consistently meeting deliverables according to deadlines.
• Demonstrates leadership so that a proactive and positive safety attitude imbues the PSMS culture.

i) Revamping of Caprolactam complex

ii) RLNG Conversion Project (Fuel and Feed) of Ammonia complex

• Manage every aspects of multiple capital expenditure projects simultaneously through the entire project life cycle, proposal,initiating,execution and closure.
• Responsible for the initiation and preparation of detailed project proposals,development of project budgets,schedule and management of the company's internal development projects.
• Review of Process Flow Diagram and P&ID,evaluation of all aspects of design of engineering packages as per approved codes and practices,scope of supply & service thus provide inputs for the project specific design and engineering.
• Developed and initiated project,managed costs,monitored performance with reduced cost of quality.
• Evaluated appropriate contract requirements for project scope management and change request processing.
• Functioned as point of contact for project administrators and managers focused on timely and successful completion of full lifecycles of assigned projects.
• Looks at and uses OHS best practices to proactively manage safety.

i) Waste Heat Recovery system replacement project in Sulphuric acid plant

ii) RLNG Conversion Project of Rotary Dryers in NP Complex Plant.

iii) Erection and Commissioning of Package Boiler and Start up Blower unit for Sulphuric Acid Plant.

• Joined as Management Trainee (Mechanical) in September 2012.
• Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation,Technical discussion & clarification with the vendor,review and approval of vendor documents and coordinating with the design department for technical inputs.
• Prepared enquiry documents for contracts and managed all the contractors at site. Verified quality of deliverables and conformance to specifications
• Carried out regular site visits, progress monitoring,risk analysis,establish traceability and submitted relevant reports to the Project Manager
• Met project deadlines without sacrificing build quality or workplace safety
• Involved in trouble shooting problems with rotating equipment and piping systems for the process plant.
• Meet with vendor representatives and visit supplier works for review of documents,attending FATs etc,when required.

i) Phase 3 Project at M/s.Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd,Mangalore,Karnataka

ii) Revamping of Blast Furnace at M/s.Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd,Hospet,Karnataka

iii) Erection and Commissioning of Rotary Kiln at M/s.Star Panel Boards Ltd,Malur, Karnataka

• Experienced in Fabrication, Erection & Commissioning of Rotary kiln, Piping, Blast Stove, Pig Casting Machine and Steel structural at various sites
• Understanding GAD and P&ID, Identification of materials, type of welding & electrodes, fabrication and erection as per the drawings, checking Alignment & Skewing, Inspection at site, coordination for NDT as per the codes and standards.
• Coordinating and controlling subcontractors, supervisors, men and material movement, ensure quality of work and safety for the successful completion of the project within the scheduled time and budget.
• Liaised with company executives and project managers to acquire resources to move projects forward.
• Monitored installation of materials and equipment for compliance with drawings and specifications.
