• Study and assess drawings, plans, specifications and other documents relating to construction projects
• Determine budget, project schedules and scope of work and deploy appropriate staff
• Direct, lead and support other engineering and skilled personnel in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects
• Lead and direct onsite construction teams
• Collaborate and interact with construction teams, architects and outside project developers and consultants
• Manage deliverables on time and within the budget
• Adhere to the best practices, standards and procedures of the company
• Assess the impact and feasibility of site due diligence, preliminary layout and up to the final engineering design

  ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF PROJECT ENGINEER
  
   Monitor all site safety and legal requirements.
   Review project proposals and plans to develop project objectives.
   Identify project phases and elements.
   Establish specifications for projects based on a thorough review of performance standards, client
  requirements, and product design.
   Schedule and monitor engineering tasks.
   Establish design testing methods to monitor the overall quality of the project.
   Collect and analyze project information to create status reports and recommend future actions.
   Create drawings used in design and construction.
   Regulate policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment for the project team.
   Manage the team of engineers working on the project.

• Assist in establishing clients requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work
• Analyzing terms and conditions of the contract
• Predicting potential risks in the project and taking precautions to mitigate such
• Forecasting the costs of different resources needed for the project.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and other documentation.
• Contract management and contractual advice
• Valuation of construction work
• Claims and Dispute management
• Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
• Prepare project drawings/designs in AutoCAD
• Prepare marketing & proposals
• Complete assignments on time and within budget and achieve firm's quality objectives
