Jira DC to Atlassian Cloud Migration

• Being part of internal tools development team, worked with other internal teams in helping out match Jira Cloud requirements for every api integrations/applications that were available . Worked with software development and testing team members to design and develop robust solutions to meet client requirements for functionality, scalability, and performance. Partnered with development teams on product development and application support plans.
• Projectrak integration - Worked on integrating the deiser - projectrack plugin for internal tool that worked on creating Jira projects via automation process. Collaborated with fellow engineers to evaluate software interfaces.
• Collaborated with clients to define solution requirements.

Jira API Wrapper services Tool

• Was an active developer in part of a tool that worked on automating jira functionalities like project creation, scrum board creations, sprint management, role assignment etc. It also had various functionalities implemented as jobs that synched data from source to JIRA periodically.
• The application was developed using nodejs, mongodb and java. Later it was migrated to Java and MySQL.

Settlements File Transfer System

• Settlement Infrastructure team actively tackles the challenge of migrating payment-settlement file transfers from a C++ stack to a Java platform, completely re-engineering the old batches and successfully collaborating with diverse partner systems to implement new file transfer protocols. Created multiple modules for file transfer that incorporate necessary payment checks, tailored to the specific requirements of various partner vendors.

Tableau reporting

• As part of jira data reporting, worked in developing various reporting structures using Tableau. Created datasources using SQL queries and used them as source for reports. These reports were majorly on JIRA data.
• Learnt to use the Tableau dashboard to create edit and manage various functionalities including reporting and dashboard creation.

Jira Webhook Wrapper Service - Flyhook

• Worked as a lead in developing an application that played a role as Webhook Repeater. This application consumed Jira webhooks and later transferred the webhooks to different subscribers based on just the need using various filters.
• The application was developed using nodejs and MySQL.

Notification - Mailing System

• An emailing system was developed in order to send notifications/announcements for various purposes. This tool included varied distributed features that were user friendly and were team specific/user specific.
• Users were allowed to create templates based on their own needs, save them and modify when needed at any time further.
  The mailing system also had scheduling later facilities. Various teams actively used this to send internal communications.
• The backend involved storing data to the MySQL DB and creating APIs for various operations like create, edit, send,
  delete templates. UI was developed by consuming the same APIs.

Issue Monitoring Dashboard

• A dashboard that exclusively monitors criticalities of several tools.
  A dashboard that commenced with integrating three tools for monitoring was then slowly and later expanded to monitor more than 25 internal tools.
• Hosts, services failures were captured on timely basis. Data was collected and stored as per the individual tool-need, into Solr server and the same was indexed. The data was indexed periodically as jobs.
• The UI displayed live data and was developed by fetching the indexed data Backend involved collecting heterogenous data and storing them into server in a periodic manner. REST API calls were then made available for easier access for UI.
