• Technical Evaluation of Fields & Exploration Acreage:

Conducted comprehensive evaluations of assets, fields, and exploration territories throughout the USA, Russia, Chad, Egypt, and other regions, concentrating on the development feasibility from a reservoir standpoint and scrutinizing the prospectivity for upcoming opportunities.

Significant project involvement

• Hub Field, Mississippi, USA: Leading redevelopment efforts for Cretaceous Washita-Fredrickberg and Paluxy reservoirs, optimizing field development strategies. Analyzed well log and production data to identify candidates for work over operations, improving field productivity
• Hydraulic Fracturing Planning in Hub Field, USA: Provided expert input on hydraulic fracturing strategies, including selection of candidate wells and frac intervals for carbonate-shale reservoirs in Hub Field.
• Reservoir Modeling Studies in Onshore fields, Caspian Region, Russia: Conducted extensive reservoir modeling for two carbonate fields, encompassing volume estimation and uncertainty analysis, economic modeling to aid management in attracting potential investors.
• Oshato Project, Wyoming, US: Conducted a thorough prospectivity analysis of Minnelusa reservoir in Powder River Basin, identifying high-potential areas for exploration
• South Lunita & Westside, Louisiana, USA: Analyzed low-resistivity Yegua reservoir sands to evaluate their exploration potential and provide recommendations.
• Lazy Prospect, Texas, USA: Evaluated shallow Gardner and Overall sands of Pennsylvanian age to assess their potential for development and production.
• Lagia Oil Field, Egypt: Conducted a detailed technical evaluation of reservoir model and development plan, aiming to enhance field performance and production efficiency.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepared detailed Farm-in/Farm-Out agreements, Information Memorandum, and techno-commercial reports, facilitating business proposals and attracting potential investors.

Responsibilities:

• Field Development Planning and Appraisal Planning for marginal discoveries in Cambay Basin.
• Reservoir modeling, identifying upside potentials, and evaluating near-field exploration opportunities for onshore oil and gas fields.

Key Projects

• Sanand East & Part-A Fields: Developed reservoir models for Kalol III-IV sands; proposed a development well which is currently producing oil at the rate 200 bbl/day
• North Balol Field (HOEC): Reviewed and updated FDP for Babaguru and Balol Pay; revised volumetric and drilling plans
• Ankleshwar Block: Modeled tight reservoir sands of Olpad formation.
• Tarapur Pre-NELP Block: Modeled tight Kalol EP-IV reservoir; developed FDP for seven discoveries.
• GSPC Onshore Block: Structural framework modeling for Olpad reservoir.

Team Leadership:

• Evaluated fields/blocks in DSF and OALP rounds.

Appraisal & Development (Cambay Basin):

• Executed reservoir modeling for high-impedance Oolitic Siltstone in Lower Kalol reservoir, Balpura field; developed FDP and recommended additional infill/delineation wells.
• Redo Field Development Plan for ONGC’s Vadtal field; identified reservoir mapping inaccuracies and proposed enhanced drilling strategy.
• Completed structural and fracture intensity modeling for Ingoli field to uncover new infill drilling prospects within fractured basaltic reservoir.

Exploration (Egypt):

• Led seismic interpretation and prospect analysis for South Gulf of Suez offshore deep-water block.
• Analyzed ~5000 LKM of 2D seismic data in South Diyur Block, Western Desert; delineated Paleozoic basin structure and identified drilling prospects.
• Interpreted sub-salt sections in North Hap'y block using advanced 3D seismic data; generated three high-potential leads with estimated 5-6 TCF in-place
• Supervised well-site operations and geological data acquisition for both onshore and offshore drilling activities.

Exploration Activities (Egypt & India):

• Developed a depositional model for North Hap'y deep-water block; mapped Plio-Pleistocene channel levee and turbidite complexes using seismic attributes and well data.
• Conducted structural and stratigraphic interpretation of 3D seismic data for North Hap'y block; identified high-grade prospects, leading to drilling of five wells and three gas discoveries.
• Interpreted Messinian salt bodies over 3000 sq. km of 3D seismic data, essential for PSDM processing in North Hap'y block.
• Served as an operations geologist for onshore wells in GSPC-operated fields in Cambay Basin, India.

• Delivered advanced Geoscience software solutions and data management services to the Oil & Gas and Mining industries.
• Provided specialized training on software applications to users.
• Offered comprehensive project support, including surface logging and operational assistance for Oil & Gas companies.
