Responsible for Accounts payable process concepts i.e
2 Way Match,3 way match, PO, NON PO, GRN etc
Maintaining TAT for all activities as per the service level agreement to avoid delay in project setup and revenue recognition
Responsible for preparing SOP's in order to standardize the Processes
Responsible for handling team & providing hands on assistance to the team in case of problems both through director intervention and monitoring
Reviewing and processing invoices along with providing the resolutions for the invoices and releasing the invoices for Payment
Resolving all vendor queries and requests coming via e-mails / Tickets within the agreed SLA
Reviewing and validating basic essentials of valid invoice like supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice #, invoice date etc
Maintained a tracker of the exceptions and ensure Invoices / queries are handled taking based on the exception tracker Maintaining exception logs for process related exception as and when they occur for knowledge retention
Independently performed transactional tasks which support the compliance, planning and execution of assigned processes
Responsible for follow up with requisitions (via calls/ mails or tickets) to solve hold invoice as per the AP guideline
Responsible for adhering the internal compliance policy and guideline established by the management on their daily operational activities
Responsible for performing daily internal audit in order to ensure all Invoices / queries are handled as per the guidelines.
Reviewed accounts payable processes to ensure that they are efficient and accurate.
Verified vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policy.
Managed payment of invoices, including processing checks and wire transfers.
Resolved discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.
Processed payments in accordance with established terms of vendors' contracts.
Maintained records of all accounts payable transactions.
Performed month-end closing activities for accounts payable department.
Trained new staff members on proper use of accounting software packages.
