Playing the role of a technical architect and engagement manager for the BPM, ECM and Cloud programs of multiple banking, cards and financial services sector accounts with team strengths ranging from 30-50+ associates in an offshore/onshore/nearshore setting and turnover of over 2.8 million+ Euros. Responsibilities included:

  • In the capacity of a technical/solution architect, providing technical and thought leadership over the design and development of the end to end enterprise solutions aligned with client’s business requirements to the business analysis, development, testing and support teams working in the engagement.
  • As a billable senior lead developer in the solution:
  • Implementing applications in IBM BPM v8.5 to BAW v20, creating business processes, case management solutions, service flows, Ajax services, human services, UCAs, messaging events and database integration.
  • Creating integration solutions with the modern and legacy LOB and supporting applications using ESB based solutions, REST and SOAP web services as well as 3rd party integration solutions.
  • Implementing CRM-BPM integration between Salesforce Cloud and BPM systems.
  • Integrating with Enterprise Content Management systems like IBM Content Manager, Filenet, Alfresco and Documentum.
  • Creating user interfaces for IBM BPM using Coaches and Spark/BPM UI tookits, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Dojo, jQuery, Angular JS, Angular etc.
  • Developing Unix shell scripts, accessing databases, scheduling scripts using tools like Autosys, administering Unix systems.
  • Enhancing and modifying Java/J2EE based solutions built on Java 7/8 and J2EE frameworks like Spring, SpringBoot, Hibernate, JSP etc.
  • Implement integrated solutions with cloud services like Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Redhat Openshift and Amazon web services.
  • Implement AI/ML based solutions like chat bots using IBM Watson and Bluemix cloud and integrate with BPM solutions.
  • Drive the mix of Agile and Waterfall based deliveries from end to end, taking part in ceremonies like Requirement gathering, analysis, development and testing as well as conduct daily stand-ups, take part in PI planning events, retrospective review meetings and giving client demos.
  • Review the deliverables produced by the team and provide feedback, develop tool-chains for automated and manual checklist based reviews to ensure industry standards and best coding practices are followed.
  • Working with onshore and business teams to show demos and do discussions to bring everyone on the same page in terms of deliverables.
  • Conducting workshops and training sessions for development and business teams.
  • Working with the delivery executive, taking care of project financials, maintaining engagement profitability, doing monthly analysis like target vs actual CM%, accrued revenue vs TCV tracking, taking part in M-reviews and external financial audits and reporting status to higher management including the VPs.
  • As a people manager keeping track of organizational hierarchy and span, interviewing associates, hiring and firing, role rotations, conducting team induction and team bonding activities, managing attrition, annual reviews and promotions etc.
  • Driving the BPM and Cloud technologies Center of Excellence (COE) in the account, creating POCs, Whitepapers and generic solutions and maintaining a healthy flow of accelerators and innovations across the account.
