• As a member of the Cloud Ops team, I monitor the Service Now Incidents, Service Requests, and Change Requests and perform the activity in the specifically mentioned timeframe to meet the SLAs.
• Plan and deploy new applications in the GCP environment as per the requirements.
• Extensively use and support the Bitwise application deployed in the GCP environment for file transfers, and additional activities like creating users, configuring keys and passwords for the users, and mapping the user permissions to specific paths on the server.
• Help Integrating the SignalFx tool with the GCP to monitor the resources extensively for CPU and memory utilization, Server uptime, Bigquery usage, etc.
• Creating monthly reports for maintaining RU counts in scope.
• Getting timely reports on the vulnerability of the GCP instance, GKE, and remediating the same.
• Created Ansible and bash scripts to install the monitoring and antivirus agents on the VM as soon as they are created and making sure these agents report back to the main server to keep the VMs’ security intact.
• Checking for the timely report about the agents reporting and fixing the same in case any VM is not reporting back.
• Based on the requests creating GCP resources like VM, GCS buckets, datasets, projects, folders, IAM bindings, enabling APIs on projects, firewall rules, enabling and disabling org policies, etc using terraform.
• Continuously working on terraform code to make it more flexible and robust to incorporate all possible configurations of a GCP resource.
• Giving internal KTs to other team members to enhance the learning and use of the latest technologies.
• Getting involved in the call with other teams to understand the current and latest deployments and suggest any suggestions.
• Getting on calls with different teams, internal as well as with clients to resolve complex issues and try to make healthy and correct suggestions to resolve the same.
• Discussing new implementations on GCP with the respective team and providing all the support to deploy the application and integrate the same with GCP.
• Working on DevOps technologies like Terraform extensively along with GitHub, GitHub workflows, Kubernetes, Ansible etc.

● Project 1 : Migration of Microservices from AWS to GCP

○ In a member of the Infra & DevOps team provisioned Infrastructure using terraform on GCP and goggle developer tools

○ Extensively used GCP Cloud services like Compute, Storage, Networking & IAM, GKE, CloudSQL, Cloud DNS.

○ Hands-on Experience on using DevOps tools such as Docker, GKE, Cloudbuild, Terraform, Jenkins, Spinnaker

○ Creating MIS dashboards in Stack driver and setting uptime check for application and creating alert using goggle Monitoring tools.

● Project 2 : Migration of Infrastructure from AWS to GCP

● Project 3 : Setting up AWS Environment

○ Creating AWS Resources using terraform, and AWS CDK provided.

○ Hands-on Experience on using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab.
