Role - Technical Delivery Head

About: OTTPlay is a prominent digital product developed by HT Media, designed to serve as a comprehensive OTT (Over-The-Top) content aggregation platform and running around 40 OTT on same platform.

Web Technologies: React JS, Node JS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Material UI.

App Technologies: React Native, Node.js, JavaScript, Swift for native iOS, Java for native Android.

Responsibility:

• Currently working as the Delivery Head and Solution Consultant for E2E project for OTTPlay, overseeing both Web and App platforms. I manage a team of approximately 34 members, including Web Development, Web QA, App Development, and App QA teams.
• My key focus areas include: Sprint Poker and Planning, Demo & Retrospective Meetings, Sprint Deliveries, Successfully led the creation of an app for iPad and Tablet, in addition to iOS and Android devices.
• Analytics Tools: Proficient in using analytics tools such as MUX, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Firebase, Google Console, and Crashlytics to monitor performance and user engagement.

Additional Responsibilities and Achievements:

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align on priorities and ensure smooth project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Implementing robust QA processes to identify and address issues early, reducing the number of bugs in production.
• Resource Allocation: Strategically allocating resources to balance workload and optimize team productivity.
• Risk Management: Identifying potential risks early in the development cycle and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
• Mentorship and Team Development: Providing guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Implemented Complete Agile Methodology as a Process: Regularly conducting sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation, Backlog Management, Mentoring team members on Agile principles and practices
• Initiated QA Automation for Web, App, and TV: Significantly reducing the need for repetitive manual testing by automating critical test cases, leading to faster regression testing cycles.
• Worked on some E2E projects, like implementing EPG on Web, TV, and App on OTTPlay.
