To study the Physical and Chemical properties of Polystyrene Concrete., Performed an extensive study on EPS concrete by using Polystyrene balls as an alternative to coarse aggregates., Obtained higher compressive strength with low density, enhanced energy efficiency, durability.
Improved thermal insulation and higher Impact resistance with reduction in dead weight of the structure. To determine the Laboratory and In – situ strength of Concrete, Conducted the Compressive strength Test (using CTM) and Rebound Hammer test on samples.
Established the correlation between CTM and Rebound Hammer test results.
