Project Description : As analytics team, we leveraged Power BI, Cognos Analytics and SQL to provide BI solutions to the RMIS(Risk Management Integrated System) users in the
form of Data Models ,Reports and Dashboards. Our solutions aimed at ensuring
actionable business insights for project management and leadership.

Role and Responsibilities :

• Developed and led the BI strategy of the product, acting as a key decision-maker for BI initiatives.
• Responsible for delivering and maintaining over 200 reports/dashboards tailored to business needs.
• Built Semantic Data Models by leveraging Power Query,Power Pivot and DAX queries to ensure meaningful insights from the data.
• Experience with building insightful data visualizations using Power BI Desktop.
• Experience with managing Power BI Premium Service ,including capacity settings,governance and workspace administration.
• Implemented RLS in BI reports.

Project Description : As a team we offer solutions related to the US HR Benefits
domain. The project aimed to provide BI models and insightful reports/dashboards to the business users.

Role and Responsibilities:

• End-to-end design, development, and deployment of the data model, reports, and dashboards using Cognos Analytics and Power BI to meet customer needs.
• Developed and maintained Power BI dashboards tailored to business needs by using Power Query and DAX
• Successfully migrated 200+ reports from Cognos 10.2 to Cognos 11 version.
• Expertise in implementing interactive features in Cognos reports, including drill-through, master-detail, report bursting, JavaScript Interactivity, and Event Studio.
• Proficient in using Cognos components like Report Studio, Framework Manager, Event Studio and Dashboards.
• Developing Ingestion Framework in Hadoop to bring in the raw data from source.
• Executed ETL flow design and development with Apache Spark/Scala and Hive technologies.

Business Domain : Commerical banking

Project Description : The in-house self service BI tool(built on Hyperion) used by
community bank users had to be re-built on Oracle and Cognos. The project was to
replicate the data model using Framework manager and re-create Hyperion reports
in Cognos.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Designed and developed tailored reporting solutions by leveraging Cognos Report Studio and Framework Manager to meet customer needs.
• Migrated Hyperion reports to Cognos using Cognos Report Studio and Framework Manager.

Business Domain : Investment Banking

Project Description : The goal of the project was to develop analytical solutions for
the end users of TLM application. The data models and reports help users identify
gaps in the reconciliation process using TLM.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Created client-specific business reporting applications using Cognos for investment banking projects, using Framework Manager and Report Studio.
• Performed functional and regression testing of reports.
• Leveraged SQL to do rigorous data analysis.
• Handled Production tickets adhering to SLAs.
