Project Description :

The project’s purpose is to build a large, big data platform which will be used to run a number of analytics applications in order to increase the Business Intelligence capabilities of Globe Life. This project attempts to use the most current and insurance domains in the Data world and staying current with technological trends in this space is vital.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborated daily with business stakeholders and clients to gather, analyze and clarify reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Translated business requirements into technical specifications, defining scope, enhancements, new development and delivery timelines.
• Performed detailed data analysis to identify data discrepancies, quality issues, and performance bottlenecks before visualization.
• Designed, developed, and maintained interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to support business decision-making.
• Created and optimized calculated fields, measures, KPIs, parameters, filters, and hierarchies based on assigned indicators.
• Managed and prioritized work using JIRA, handling multiple enhancement and development tickets based on business priority.
• Conducted regular client discussions for requirement validation, clarification and feedback during development phases.
• Published dashboards to Staging, supported UAT and handled final deployment to Tableau Server / Power BI Service.
• Troubleshot dashboard-level issues, data refresh failures, performance problems and access/security-related issues.

Project Description:

GILEAD recently acquired KITE is undertaking standardization on the current CDLS solution that will integrate data sources across various functions within the Commercial Analytics & Operations team. We identify the data sources that would be ingested in the cloud system for fulfilling the data warehouse needs and enabling the system for reporting and analytics

Responsibilities:

• Understanding Client Requirements and providing solutions accordingly.
• Carry out Change Requests and gathering inputs for visual diagrams.
• Interacting with the client on various forums to discuss the status of the project.
• Responsible for error free and timely delivery.
• Need to work on assigned use cases then do the analysis and share it with the client.
• Responsible to perform visualization through Tableau to get a quick view.
• Used data blending feature in tableau and defined best practices for Tableau report development.
• Developed and reviewed SQL queries with use of joins for multiple tables. We involved in doing process of UAT before the deployment window.

Project Title : MISDISHA-VSV (Vodafone Smart View)

Project description :

DISHA project is an ongoing project in Vodafone India to migrate its POST paid billing system from BSCS to AMDOCS. Currently, 23 circles have been successfully made live on AMDOCS Billing System. MIS (Management Information Systems) is a reporting application used by Vodafone business users to understand customer behavior, based on which certain decisions are taken by business. Around 350 reports are developed in MIS. The reports are based on Day-1 data except few which are online reports. Most of the reports can be executed on monthly or daily basis based on user inputs.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and maintaining complex stored procedures, functions, triggers and packages.
• Developing advanced PL/SQL components using collections, bulk binds and dynamic SQL.
• Creating database objects such as sequences, synonyms and database links.
• Optimizing long-running queries for maximum efficiency.
  Debugging production issues and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Handling database exceptions and error logging to ensure system reliability.
• Loading large datasets into staging tables using utilities like SQL*Loader or UTL FILE.
• Performing data profiling to understand data quality and source integrity. Implementing and monitoring scheduled database jobs using DBMS SCHEDULER.
• Interacting with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborating with front-end teams (e.g., Java, .NET) to integrate database solutions with user interfaces.
• Providing L3 support for incidents and service requests.

Project Description :

• Multicurrency accounts: DBS plans to offer a multi currency account for customers in the bank's IBG (Institutional banking) segment across 5 countries. The business objective is to allow multi currency accounts (MCA) transactions coming from channels to Finacle.

Responsibilities:

• Data Collection & Acquisition: Gathering data from various primary and secondary sources, including internal databases (SQL), CRM systems, APIs, customer surveys and web analytics.
• Data Cleaning & Preprocessing: Removing errors, duplicates and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity.
• Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Using statistical methods to identify patterns, correlations and trends within complex datasets.
• Reporting & Visualization: Analysing the interactive dashboards and clear visual reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Database Management: Designing, creating and maintaining relational databases and data systems to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Strategic Decision Support: Working with leadership to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and providing recommendations for process improvements and growth opportunities.
