· Working closely with the Business Stakeholders to understand the business goals and gather information and sales pipeline regarding the progress of the business as per the budgets/targets along with preparing the Reports by region, by representatives, by product, by customer such as Sales reps travel plans, and their coverage are monitored.
· Help the Pharma business manager with product quotes, sample copies and derive content from Thieme web portals. Maintain Business pipeline and doing the regular follow‑ups with vendors and the business manager for smooth delivery of the orders. Follow‑up with production department for quotes and production schedule.
· CRM: Provide technical support to the sales reps and in‑charge for all the master data and coordinating with the vendor for all troubleshooting and upgradation and most important to monitor the usage by the team.
· Providing the necessary trainings to the team for the software and maintaining database for Trade, Pharma, Institution sales and Marketing.
· Cloudtail: End to end operations of cloud tail account is handled with preparation of necessary reports.
· Journal Dispatches: ‑ Coordination with the Editor in chiefs for the requirement of TPD journals and dispatching them as per the request and maintaining the stock for the journals.
Market research: ‑ Research to be done on new titles that are being released by the competitors along with the forthcoming titles and sharing the information with the respective departments.
* Coordination with sales and marketing team and distributors.
* Supporting to marketing and sales team with arranging demo equipment as per their requirement for various marketing events, national conferences and workshops along with Proper maintenance of distributor demo equipment and ongoing tracking of the missing equipment.
* Continuous follow ups for the queries raised by Marketing department for the BOM's shared.
* Vendor Management
* Close inter departmental coordination such as Supply chain, Finance, Technical service, and field service team.
* Managing of the sale regional conferences along with marketing conferences resolving customer’s problems and complaints over telephone or by email.
* Preparing monthly, weekly sales and quantity reports for sales team
· Work as a bridge between the Marketing and Research & Development team to speed up the process of Business Development activities.
· Doing sales analysis using various techniques like 80‑20 rule, popularly known as The Pareto Analysis, fish bone analysis, RCA or Why‑Why analysis and having Review of sales loss occurred due to Supply, Quality and Marketing and presenting the actual cause and the major defaulter of sales loss.
· Co‑ordination and communication (verbal & nonverbal) between the BDMs and the R&D Department to provide the samples or panels along with their necessary documents at the earliest.
· Monitoring/ Tracking of the BDMs activities like their daily visits, trial results, requirements of re‑sampling of products etc.
