  • Having a Design experience of VFVV transformers by placing an OLTC on HV side to regulate the LV voltages.
  • Quoted many tender designs of VFVV application for customers like Renovo US, Ameren US, Ameresco US, On Energy Storage US.
  • Bi-Directional Transformer of VFVV & CFVV application for LINXON project, USA for solar BESS application. Same Transformer can be used as VFVV and CFVV system during charging and discharging cycles.

  • Dual Rating transformers with OCTC switch for USA customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Study of customer specification to analyze customer requirements.
  • Preparation of tenders and Work order designs as per technical specification.

  • Preparing the detailed electrical design for work orders & actively participating in getting the approval on customer drawings.
  • Follow up with the marketing for submitted tender status.
  • issuing tender offer (BOM and GTP) for Domestic and Export Customers.
  • Responsible for detailed electrical design calculations like main design(core and windings design), cooling Calculations, losses calculations, impedance calculations, checking the impulse withstand strength of windings (dielectric strength), checking the dynamic withstand strength of transformer during short circuit.
  • Issuing Major long lead items like Core data, Conductor data, bushings, Tap changer, etc.
