• Installing, configuring, upgrading & managing Control-M Agents on different platforms
• Checking whether the environment is suitable for installing agent and doing all the precheck and make sure all the required library files are installed before installing agent
• Work closely with client on the business needs & provide recommendations
• Analyze and resolve Control-M system production problems.
• Work with Change managers & application owners to Configure and Schedule batch jobs -Analyze application team’s need and help them to automate their job.
• Manage calendar definitions for the enterprise, and use advanced calendar features – Creating complex calendars which are needed to schedule different workday jobs which runs on different days on different months.
• Manage resource definitions to avoid parallel runs & implement Load Balancing – creating shared and exclusive control resources to avoid critical job collision. Creating quantitative resources to avoid over loading of job triggers in a particular server.
• Notifying Apps Teams on the Jobs scheduled/not-scheduled to run on Government holidays using Forecast & work on their requirement
• Performing Weekend Activities, which requires multiple jobs to be held/released, checking for job loads if the Activity crosses NDP & checking agent status
• Use file watcher & transfer jobs to run on file availability & perform requested actions. Same type of data base jobs can be created to watch data inserted in specific table.
• Create & Manage User Daily jobs to reduce heavy load during New Day Process – Split New day process with different user dailies so that ND process can complete in quick time.
• Force in the Tables/ Jobs as requested by the user groups on Ad-hoc basis
• Providing on-call support 24/7 for Monitoring team & creating SOP/KB Documents
• Provide KT to Ops & Application Teams to use control-m effectively
• Preparing reports as per the user’s requests
• Creating & working on incidents/Change Requests created in Service-Now within SLA
• Create new jobs in Control-M on Windows and UNIX environments.
• Creating and scheduling jobs on the control m tool in both test (Quality) and production environment.
• Creating job dependencies and alert as per application team request.
• Able to create shout destinations using CCM and putty
• Generating Daily Monitoring report/Data for Batch Jobs – Production.
• Performing AD-HOC request from the support teams.
• Hands on experience in scheduling jobs related to SAP, BW, File Watcher and OS.
• Generating alert reports and generating jobs backup.
• Creating, Reviewing & implementing change records involving Control-M for creating/modifying the batch jobs (Service now).
• Hands on experience in service now tool for incidents, Service request and tickets.
• Received certain appreciations from clients from previous organizations.
