Quality assurance project which offers Testing solutions on functional, Automation and performance testing to the Global Logistics systems and Warehouse management system projects. Global Logistics System (GLS) It is the next generation warehouse management system and will replace GDS in phases. This GLS will comprise of various modules from like Inventory management, Receiving, Order processing, Order filling, Shipping and invoicing in store and Online.Main Objective of GLS is to develop and maintain a single Warehouse Management System which is functionally rich and technologically flexible, allowing our distribution customers globally to operate at the lowest cost possible. It has been designed and delivered specifically for a global market and will be implemented across the world in all Walmart markets, including USA, Canada, Japan, India, Russia, Mexico and Brazil.

Responsibilities:
1.Gathering the Business requirement, convert into Test design document and co-ordinate with onshore team to help them in understanding the business requirement.
2.Involved in writing Test Plan for the enhancement requirements and production defect fixes for the database after analyzing the specifications and business requirements.
3. Developing the Test scenarios from the requirements gathered during the Design phase.
4. Knowledge sharing between Project Functional team & QA team followed by the knowledge sharing with the onshore teams.
5. Test case writing and Test execution along with the review of the work done by onshore team.
6. Scheduling and participating in the defect triage calls with project stakeholders and drive them to closure.
7. Performed End-to-End testing to ensure data consistency on target tables by writing and executing SQL statements on the Test data.
8. Development and execution of Test Cases and maintained all the Test cases and Test results test management tool Jira.
9. Performed Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, End-to-end testing and Regression testing.
10.Sprint planning, Product grooming, Scrum meetings and Story Time.
11.Coordinating with Development team for analyzing the issues and helping them fixing defects.
12. Raising and tracking Defects in Jira.
13. Involved in collation and Preparation of Test Metrics and daily/weekly status reports.
14. Worked on Integration testing with the multiple teams to validate flow structure before code merge in production environment.
15. Identify the testing risk & issues and follow the escalation procedure to mitigate it.
16. Organizing the defect triage meeting and provide the observation to development team.

It is a Banking domain project shall handle the transactions processing for India,Taiwan, and Vietnam Country for payments products like NEFT, RTGS & Book Transfer and Book Transfer inter-branch transactions For Home Currency and Taipei and VND, JPY, USD, EUR Currency For both Taiwan and Vietnam Country. Regional payment system needs to be implemented to resolve the current issue in payment systems for banking and realize standardization across the region in order to achieve cost and operation efficiencies and provide the robust and flexible platform to prompt business and build up the environment to provide advanced payment service with common components. Establish the platform to produce innovation as the region by providing flexible architecture.
