Job overview

  • Currently, I am working in Genpact Company as a Transaction Monitoring Associate. I have to monitor the transactions wisely so that I can track suspicious activities happening in the transaction. I prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports(SARs) or Suspicious Transaction Reports(STRs) to regulatory authorities as per their requirements. I have to also reconcile the balances of bank statements with the bank ledgers. I also perform accounts payable work like 2-way match, 3-way match, invoicing, bank reconciliation, making purchase orders etc.
  • I conduct Transaction Monitoring and Risk Assessment to detect suspicious activities. I try to identify and mitigate money laundering, corruption, and terrorist financing risks. I perform client risk scoring, profiling, and compliance checks following AML regulations. I collect and verify customer identification documents (ID proof, permanent address)etc. I also perform Enhanced Due Diligence(EDD) for high risk customers or politically exposed persons(PEPs).
