Test Lead

• Defining the scope of testing within the context of every release and every software testing level or cycle.
• Refining the test process in order to have minimal/no defect leakage in the upper environment and consistently looking for improvement
• Presenting the quality report to the management every quarter/month
• Presenting the new capabilities added in the automation suite and new process to the broader/external team.
• Responsible for preparing the Test summary report for every weekly release.
• Designed a process to have the right resolution in order to find out the RCA of the defects.
• Responsible for deploying the release codebase into the test environment post the previous release sign‐off and communicating with broader teams.
• Working with peer team members across the different time zones in order to make sure the production environment is updated with a weekly code base.

Functional Manual / Automation Tester

• Responsible for manual test cases creation of the user stories
• Executing the regressive and progressive test cases tagged to the user stories and regression suite.
• Logging the defects using a project management tool Jira and GitHub
• Responsible for automating the progressive/backlog UI automatable test cases using Selenium protractor with Javascript
• Fixing the automated test cases if it's failed during nightly execution and take appropriate action
• Reviewing the automation pull request created by the team members and responsible for code maintenance in GIT
• Involved in configuring the CI/CD tool like Jenkins to make sure nightly automation results are posted to the communicator

Release Management

• Ownership to inform to the team member once the latest release is deployed in test environment
• Responsible for making sure labels are tagged to the jira user stories to find out release contents
• Communicating to the dev team member to provide the resolution of High severity defects in order to provide sign off from the release
• Responsible to take appropriate decisions based on the severity of the defects to accept/reject the defect fix while Go/No Go.
