Began career as a Piping Material Engineer (CPPS) in the Technical Resource (TR) team, with exposure to Codes & Standards, CPPS work processes, piping specification development, MOC handling, and RFV resolution. Performed piping thickness calculation using PCC software, optimization, bend, and external pressure calculations as well.
Currently working as a Piping Stress Engineer, involved in piping modeling and stress analysis using CAESAR II for various equipment including heat exchangers, pumps, air coolers, drums, tanks, and columns. Created Stress Documentation report. Prepared stress index and support matrix report, and performed FE pipe checks for nozzle load and dummy load qualification.

Work History
Piping Stress Engineer
Dow Chemicals International Private limited
07.2024 - Current
I started a stress engineering role on the CFB-PDU R&D Pilot Project, supported high-temperature steam lines (360 °C) and sump line systems.
Supported multiple site-executed projects across US (6 regions) and Europe (4 regions) by performing piping stress analysis in accordance with approved work processes and documentation procedures, gaining experience in both SI and English units.
Contributed to the WBDA Capital Project, ensuring system compliance with TNO local government regulations, including re-analysis based on revised pressure–temperature (P-T) conditions and performing stress calculations for 100+ lines across various pipe sizes within project deadlines.
Worked on the Octene Capital Project, qualifying systems under special operating conditions (250 C), including 7 pump systems, 3 tank systems, and 1 column reboiler system, and supporting PED category documentation.
Supported additional site-executed and targeted tasks involving lined piping systems, non-metallic piping systems (FRP, HDPE, CPVC), and HDPE potable water buried piping, including evaluation of thrust loads and coordination with site teams for concrete block provisions.
Performed dynamic analysis to verify system frequencies against resonance conditions.
Supported the Flarenet Project, performing stress checks on PSV systems to qualify increased pressure conditions in flare headers.
Conducted FE pipe–nozzle checks to ensure nozzle loads were within allowable limits and performed Kellogg trunnion checks for dummy load qualification.
Coordinated with civil, mechanical, process, geotechnical, layout, material, and site teams, strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration across regions.
Currently supporting Terneuzen (TNO) site-targeted tasks in the Europe region, performing stress checks, flange leakage checks, nozzle load verification, dummy load qualification, and optimized pipe support design.
Piping Material Engineer
Dow Chemicals International Private limited
07.2023 - 07.2024
Developed new Piping Specifications and performed pipe thickness, optimization, bend, and external pressure calculations to verify the integrity of PFF components.
Executed and managed 100+ Management of Change (MOC) activities, including Item, Intranet, and CPPS MOCs, and addressed technical queries related to changes.
Supported the team in reviewing and addressing RFVs (Requests for Variance).
Worked in compliance with ASME B31.3, B31.4, and B31.8 codes, along with applicable industry standards.
Intern
Dow Chemicals International Private limited
08.2022 - 09.2022
Completed a 2-month internship in the Piping Stress Engineering team, contributing to a Buried Pipe Stress Analysis project. Involved in comparative evaluation of ALA and Peng methods for buried piping stress checks. Authored and published an EMETL work process on Buried Pipe Stress Analysis, supporting standardization of analysis practices.
