Project Description: Client is motivated by improving the health of their customers and Australians. passionate about building a better health system that is centered on people, and sustainable in the long term. They are leading private health insurer, with more than 45 years of experience delivering better health to Australians and look after the health cover needs of more than 3.7 million customers. In last purpose insurer is Better Health for Better Lives. In this project, working on maintain the large amount of customer data and generate different types of BAU reports. These reports help stakeholder to compare with actual claim of customers and make it easy to approve claim amount to the customers. Project task involving generate the BAU Reports on monthly basis and support to different type reports having frequency like Daily, weekly and fortnightly and monthly.
In term of using SAS, working on SAS Programming, SAS EG, SAS ETL and SAS SMC.
Responsibilities
• Generate the BAU reports on monthly basis
• Support to the report that are run with frequency like daily, weekly and fortnightly
• Handle large amount of data
• Modify the codes as requested by users
• Work on data migration
• In migration work doing SIT and Investigate for data issue and giving solution if it requires code change
• Schedule and deploy job, run in batch mode, also scheduled using management console.
• Used performance improvement techniques in job like run SQL in multi-threading, used views, used Pass through facility.
• Regularly take back up of generated output
• Maintain the latest code update using version control
• Create proper documentation of work

Project: Support BR (Barclays Reports)

Client: IBM
Role: Data Consultant
Environment: SAS, SAS DI Studio, and SAS EG

Duration: 6 Months

Project Description: Barclays, Bank maintain their Reports every annual Year. It contains Deposits, Retail, Total Assets/Liabilities, Net Interest Income Net Profit, and Amount Available for Appropriation, different type of Key Performance Indicators for different bank sectors, Capital & Reserves, Annual Returns, Risk Management, Business Responsibility Report, Financial Performance Report and etc. Project Involved make Change Request (CR), schedule Report, Monitor Report and Update the Report.

Project Name: Customer Analytics
Client: proxima (US Retailer)

Role: Member of Technical staff -1
Environment: Base SAS, SAS DI developer, SAS SMC and SAS VA
Duration: 13 Months

Description: They are partner with finance to ensure savings delivered are real, measurable, sustainable, and signed off by finance and the business stakeholders. Today they have 250 procurement specialists operating worldwide helping some of the world’s most recognizable businesses to become better, by delivering or transforming procurement. Their clients may be novices or experts, but always find that procurement can bring transformational value to top and bottom line.
As practitioners, they measure on their results, and the outcomes are truly spectacular. Project involved DI task for loading data for sales campaigns, marketing etc. It also involved analysis using SAS VA.

Responsibilities
• Created different SAS Program
• Developed different DI jobs
• Used different transformations like extract, SQL, look up, data validation, table loader, SCD type 2, Surrogate key generator etc.
• Schedule and deploy job, run in batch mode, also scheduled using management console
• Used performance improvement techniques in job like used indexes, parallel processing, run SQL in multi-threading, used views, used Pass through facility.
• Used change management feature using check in and check out, created project repositories
