  • Project Name: KRIDE
  • Activities Performed: Working as part of the GC consortium between WSP/AECOM/EGIS, is responsible for the design development and planning of the stations coming under Corridor 1, Corridor 2 & Corridor 4 of KRIDE, Bangalore’s suburban rail development project. He has also taken part in identifying and submitting plans for land acquisition as part of the project progress. There are 4 corridors coming under this project which adds up to a total of 57 stations which will be both elevated and at-grade stations depending upon the site conditions. The aim of the project is to de-centralize urban growth & ease up the traffic congestion, rising in the city and connect rural outskirts of the city to the developed urban zones of the city. The GC will be responsible for developing the initial plans and façade designs of the stations.

  • Project Name: Phase 2 Elevated Metro Rail Corridor 4 for Chennai Metro Rail Limited (Govt. of India).
  • Activities Performed: The project was initiated in 2007 at an estimated cost of ₹14,600 crore with a forecasted 5% increase. The project was completed in 2014 at cost ₹20,000 crore. In December 2016, it was announced that Chennai Metro phase 2 would be for 104 km spreading across 104 stations. In July 2017, an extension in Phase II involving an additional cost of ₹385 crore to the original phase II cost of ₹850 crore was announced. The phase 2 involves extension of line 4 from Lighthouse up to Poonamallee, with the Madhavaram–Sholinganallur and Lighthouse–Poonamallee lines intersecting at Alwarthirunagar. As part of the DDC Team, he was involved in the Architectural planning, developing layouts for the metro stations, finalising finishes and intricate finishing details. CAD modelling, 3D rendering, Co-ordination with the consultants. i.e., Structural, MEP, Fire, Contractors etc. of stations namely Poonamallee, Avichi School, Alwarthirunagar including BIM Coordination and developing detailed working drawings in revit and BIM360 management. He also has hands-on experience in Poonamallee Depot building’s conceptual design development and detail drawing production & BIM coordination of the same.
  • Project Name: Water Metro for Kochi Metro Rail Limited (Govt. of India).
  • Location: Kochi, India
  • Activities Performed: This is a state government funded project with financial support from KFW, Germany, developing 41 terminal buildings and new boat services being introduced to feed passengers and facilitate the Kochi metro rail services. Terminal buildings are being designed to reduce cost of construction and maintenance and running costs. The project scope here was to work as a GC team for water metro and has conceived conceptual design strategies, development of conceptual layout of the 41 terminals/stations for Fort Kochi, Vypin, Mattanchery and Vyttila and create iconic building facades along the waterfront of Kochi city. Terminal buildings such as Vypin, Mattanchery and Fort Kochi were placed in the zones of historical and archaeological importance. He was involved in developing conceptual Design of these terminals with the participation of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Mayor of Cochin Corporation, MLA and several other political leaders to reduce the environmental, cultural and social impact on the residents and reduce the factors affecting the tourism of these sites. He was part of the 3-member design team that overlooked the development of architectural layouts and façade designs of the metro terminals. He was also involved in the review & production of detailed design drawings & architectural planning, site planning and placement of site utilities as part of master plan development, CAD modelling, 3D rendering, project planning, landscape design, getting designs drawings ready to obtain sanctions from relevant authority.
