Project: Atlas

It is a product in healthcare domain for US health registries where user record the patient history and details using the UI which is stored in database and further used for data analytics.

Tableau with python, pandas was used for data analytics and reporting. Tableau Prep was used for creating flows and Tableau Desktop for creating reports and data visualization.

Reporting application would fetch huge JSON data from business tables, flatten it, convert it into RDBMS based structure and store it into reporting database, to be consumed by Tableau for reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Developed a Python based application from scratch and integrated it with Tableau for data analytics.
• Created an application in Python to convert JSON based business data into RDBMS based structure for reporting.
• End to end delivery of the Atlas new features using Python and Postgresql.
• Technical mentoring a team of 3 people to deliver Atlas features releases where 90% of the time was involved in hands on work and 10% of the time was involved in task assignment to the team, code review and resolving technical issues of the team members.

Project: Hybrid Cloud Management Platform.

It’s a hybrid cloud orchestration automation tool used for cloud resource provisioning. The product was being used internally by Jio teams for resource provisioning on multiple clouds like Azure, GCP and VMware.

Technologies: Python, Fastapi, Postgresql, azure sdks, gcp sdk and pyvmomi for VMWare., Sqlalchemy, RabbitMQ

Responsibilities:

• Developed the backend application of HCM Platform from scratch using Python and cloud providing sdks.
• Technical mentoring a team of 4 people to add and deliver new features for HCMP Platform, where 80% of the time was involved in hands on work and 20% of the work was involved in requirement gathering, task assignment, peer code review and resolving technical issues.
• Developed a processor to handle multiple requests coming from different queues.
• Created a basic framework to handle provisioning requests for different cloud providers.
• Added basic handler for each cloud provider.
• Integrated Terraform with Python for VM provisioning.

File Analytics(Nutanix)(2016-2021): It is an analytical tool for files operations done by users on the Nutanix hypervisor based storage.

Responsibilities:

Migrated complete api gateway module to AWS from on-premise using Python, Flask, Snowflake, AWS-Lambdas, EC2.

Developed new features for FileAnalytics using Python, and Snowflake.

Developed a reporting module from scratch using Python and snowflake over AWS.

Created lambdas for reporting module.

Minerva FileServer Storage(Nutanix)((2015-2016)):

Minerva FileServer QA Automation(Nutanix)(2013-2015): The project is aimed at automating Functional testing of minerva product.

Software Support Group(Flash Networks)(2011-2013): SSG is a L3 support for a telecom product Seamless Access (SA). SA was a web traffic proxy gateway that provides a platform for mobile operators to add services on top of subscriber internet traffic and to apply techniques to improve the browsing experience and reduce the cost to the operator of providing internet services.

Responsibilities:

Led a team to handle all the production issues and maintain SLA to resolve high priority issues.

Developed new features for the product.

CentralDispatch Loadbalancer(Resonate)(2010-2011): Central Dispatch is a distributed server management system for Internet and intranet sites. Central Dispatch enhances sites by offering exceptional traffic control, availability, and administrative flexibility. Central Dispatch enables multiple Internet servers to act as a single, scalable, reliable, and easily managed Internet server system

XtremeFramework(Flash Networks) (2008-2010) Development: The Xtreme Framework (XF) is a distributed computing environment for building and managing solutions that range from simple client-server applications to complex networked enterprise applications. The product was developed using component-based architecture.

Online Lottery Application for EPOS Terminal by LinkWel,

The application was for the online games played on the Hand-Held terminals provided the GPRS Connection in the terminal

Each betting ticket used to register online at the Central Server using GPRS data transfer. The terminal had a live socket connected to the central server all the time.

Developed the EPOS application from scratch for online lottery.

Created a GPRS module to connect EPOS terminal to lottery server.
