Projects

Omnidirectional Car using STM32 Microcontroller (August 2023)

  • In this project we had made an omnidirectional car powered by STM32 microcontroller and controlled by a Bluetooth module.
  • The car used 4 mecanum wheels. They are wheels with small discs (called rollers) around the circumference which are perpendicular to the turning direction.
  • The car is controlled through a phone by a Bluetooth module which will help it move forward, backward, left, right and sideways

Lane Detection And Visual Odometry For Vehicle Navigation Using MATLAB (February 2024)

  • The project involved designing and implementing a lane detection algorithm that can accurately detect lane markings, including solid, dashed, and curved lanes, under various environmental conditions.
  • The algorithm is able capable of processing live video input from a vehicle mounted camera in real-time.
  • The project was aimed to implement a visual odometry system that estimates the vehicle’s motion and trajectory by analyzing sequential images captured by the camera.

Earthquake Detector Using 741 IC (October 2023)

  • In this project we designed and implemented an analog vibration sensor using a piezo sensor, operational amplifier (op-amp) LM741, and a 555 timer IC. The system detects vibrations and provides an indication through blinking an LED.
  • This project aims to demonstrate the use of basic electronic components such as a piezo sensor, op-amp, and 555 timer IC to achieve the desired functionality.
