Roles and Responsibilities:

• Delivered proper business data by devising simple and complex SQL scripts to check and validate dataflow to downstream tracks by collaborating with the upstream layers: IICS, Talend sources via objects and repositories.
• Actively worked with third-party organizations like Google and the Datametica team to convert Teradata SQL to GCP Big Query SQL for more than 2000 jobs and its 5000 scripts.
• Performed unit testing for all these jobs and captured their results before deploying them to higher environments, i.e., Dev to QA.
• Worked as a Junior Lead, driving a team of 4, in guiding them throughout the project process.
• Created Teradata objects like databases, users, profiles, roles, tables, and views, and macros.
• Created scripts of BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and written queries to move the data from source to destination.
• Used Fast Export utility to extract large volumes of data at high speed from Teradata RDBMS.
• Involved in the analysis of issues and proposing solutions to clients. Involved in the analysis of test results and documenting test results.
• Played a vital role in achieving various milestones set by the client to deliver over 500 jobs to UAT within a short span of time.
• Collaborated with other monitoring teams to ensure smooth job run and prompt fixing of job failures when notified.
• Troubleshooted and provided quick bug fixes of job failures and Data mismatches during all phases of the migration i.e., From Development till Production (live).
