• Design, synthesis, and characterization of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) using solvothermal method and converted into various functionalized MOFs through post synthetic modification(PSM) strategy for the removal of radionuclides and heavy metals from aqueous medium.
• The synthesized MOFs were analyzed using different characterization techniques viz., UV-Vis Absorption spectroscopy, FTIR, Powder XRD, TGA, NMR, XPS, EXAFS, BET, and SEM &EDX.
• Also, the MOFs were employed for sensing of radionuclides and heavy metals from aqueous medium/acidic medium.
• Hydrogen adsorption studies also studied using different MOFs.
• In addition, MOFs were utilized for phosphors synthesis and studied for photoluminescence.
• Molecular insight binding mechanisms between linker moiety and guest were also investigated using computational studies by DFT calculations.
• Generated high-quality, professional papers for submission to scientific publications.
• Collaborated with 3 professionals to advance research and gain deeper understanding of topics.
• Presented talks at International conferences, speaking about research topics of interest and related subjects.
