• Technical Support: New product service and customer support functions for export markets (Region: Asia Pacific and Latin Americas).
• QRMS: Quick Response Market Solution for New Product Launches. Coordinating with the CFT for new product field-related issues.
• Ensuring the new product release as per the timeline – supporting for the 'P' build.
• Feedback to the NPD team about market updates – changes in process, change management with DR (drawing releases), and homologation requirements.
• Root cause analysis validation from the vendor and ensuring the effectiveness and robustness of countermeasures.
• MIS and dashboard preparation – presenting to top management on a monthly basis.

• New product design – BSVI exhaust after-treatment system build support for application engineering at the customer site (Ashok Leyland, technical center).
• Ensuring parts availability for proto builds and coordinating with the plant team.
• Coordinate with the CFT team for change management and new variant development.
• Core member in signing off on the proto build before it goes to the production build.
• Develop prototype-related tools for field support, Service-related trainings to field staffs.
• Maintaining the service database for the complete key activities of service and support data for the monthly release report.
• Field failure based on newly developed components validating at the vehicle level, along with the customer level.
• Report field failures and update the global tracking system (FIRG forum).
• Preparation of technical reports related to service, maintenance, training, and troubleshooting.
• Value-adding and value engineering for cost reduction projects.

Resident Engineer _ Daimler AG (3 months - 2018)

• Joint investigation with Daimler AG field team for Powertrain-transmission related failure
• Field issues coordination and technical support to DAG central quality team.
• Capturing data on daily basis responsible for complete field resolutions / support.
• Ensure vehicle to keep uptime of vehicle. Monitor closely on all critical/ Repeat complaint on customer vehicles.
• Release all data to all respective teams of Engg/Reliability/CQ and service team.
• SPOC between OEM and customer for all communication related subject.

Responsibilites:

• Prototype build of vehicle & its drive line systems – Clutch , Engines , Transmissions ( synchromesh , Automated Manual transmissions, Mercedes power shift), Axles for Daimler Buses and Trucks
• Tear down of tested vehicle and evaluation of each individual parts of drive line components of vehicle.
• Prototype procurement process to ensure that all parts for prototype aggregates builds, Assembly try out in production line.
• Ensure proto build is ready and signoff with CFT before it goes to PPAP.
• Conduct weekly review meeting with CFT members about proto build update.
• Rising concerns against new proto build and presenting in look and feel meeting on weekly basis.
• Implemented common Prototype processes such as functional evaluation process sheet, control plan, check sheet, Assembly report and concerns observed during build to improve quality, efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
• First time development of special tools and fixture for DICV Axles and transmissions
• Manage parts planning team to organise on time support for prototype build.
• Report Proto build/testing failures and updating in global tracking system (ZEUS system)
• Prepare and update monthly Key performance indicator of team, Shop floor Management board, R&D stores inventory control.
