Qatar Telecom Fiber Routing Project & Work Order Updation

• Approximately 6000 kilometers of fiber network in Telcordia Network Engineer 4.2 needs migration, aided by client-provided input: Distribution Diagrams, SLDs featuring structures like Manholes, Handholes, Joint Boxes, and Span details, MPLS Diagrams with fiber pair connectivity counts, and SDH Ring Diagrams.
• Creation of ISP for Telecom Exchange and Customer Locations, including model building of ISP & OSP Equipment with port-level details. As-built updating and coordination with QTEL planning & field teams. Preparation of training modules

RAPDRP: Jodhpur DISCOM

• The project aims to cover urban areas, towns, and cities with populations exceeding 30,000 (10,000 for special category states), along with certain high-load density rural areas. It includes separating agricultural feeders from domestic and industrial ones.
• Tasks involve capturing electrical assets and networks using DGPS for digital migration into Arc FM. Quality assurance of vendor-surveyed data, tracking error trends, and conducting regular meetings with vendors to enhance data quality. Additionally, software testing for GPS equipment is conducted.

• The scope of this project was to migrate the fiber and copper network in Network Engineer 5.1 from given input like Network Drawings in AutoCAD & Micro station, SLDs for Span, Manhole, Hand hole & Joint box, ISP of exchanges with equipment details, Cable details from pole to pole in PDF format. Model building of ISP & OSP equipment.

• QA/QC of land database
• involving planning and coordination with various teams and vendors for equipment and fiber/copper integration. Generating maps and layouts for planning, sales, and O&M teams. Ensuring QA/QC for field surveys to update the network database.
• Conducting training sessions for subordinates and new recruits. Handling OSP & ISP activities such as equipment placement, port-level view creation, network planning for copper & fiber, customer feasibility checks, and land base updating for FTTH projects.
• Contributing to Phase 4 BTS & POI planning, as well as UFR, LCO, LBA, and IFC release, with O&M as-built updating and splicing location validation. Conducting surveys for FTTH projects and LMDS & UBR line-of-survey activities. Verifying optical fiber and copper port connectivity, duct planning, span structures, splice details, and updating Manhole & Handhole details for HFC Network.
