Responsibilities-

• Designing & Manufacture SPM Machine Required for Assembly & Process Automation.
• Could you initiate a project initiation request (PIR) with the user or line manager?
• Start the project by making two concept layouts.
• Meeting with the user, and department head, to finalize the concept.
• Prepare the cost sheet in detail, and forward it to the process department for approval, CGPR.
• Detail designing, pneumatic and electrical/electronic selection, and material ordering.
• To get all mechanical parts and assemblies from the tool room.
• Machine assembly and in-house department trials.
• Getting components and conducting a production trial with the concerned user and department operator.
• Monitoring the productivity of machines on the shop floor and doing a WHY-WHY analysis for any faults observed.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Pro/E.

• Gauge and fixture design as per customer requirements.
• Define the manufacturing process for multigauge.
• Customer inquiry handling and providing proper gauging solutions.
• 3D modelling and 2D detail drawing for manufacturing.

• Product design (worked with the sit walker project group).
• Prepare a PPT presentation for design input, and costing, and define the manufacturing process with CFT and the customer.
• NPD documentation (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
