Project: Microsoft Nuance (Asynchronous Virtual Medical Scribing Project)

Primary role:

• Deliver virtual training (via MS Teams) to the QDS and medical scribes regarding the basics of medical scribing, various formats—SOAP, APSO, hybrid—explaining various diseases, common symptoms, diagnostic terms used in U.S. health care, medications, generics, and patents used in the U.S., and other related information.
• Conducting assessments as per SOPs, maintaining records, data analysis, gap analysis.

Secondary role:

• Conducting virtual orientation calls for new joiners, and walking them through the training program.
• Creating high-quality training materials on various specialties and super specialties, such as ophthalmology, thoracic surgery, etc.
• Reviewing training content, commenting, curating, and approving.
• Uploading training data and materials to the LMS, allocating them to trainees, tracking completion, scores, and data analysis.
• Instructional design: Transforming available training materials into e-learning modules on Rise 360.
• Imparting refresher training, conducting regular PKTs, training prior to migration, and refresher training for new specialties.
• Creating lesson plans for various upcoming, projected training sessions.
• Conducting brainstorming sessions to review the current training, findings, scope of improvement, and proposing an implementation plan.
• Home manager / HCM manager: All of the new joiners are tagged to me until they move to the next level. So, until then, my duties were looking after their day-to-day approvals, leave management, timesheet and TruTime approvals, performing filling comments, and giving YEA ratings. Assisting the associates with any IT-related issues, such as being locked out of the system, by raising GSD and coordinating. Raising a JA (job abandonment) alarm as per policy, if needed.

• Clinical Documentation Expert / Clinical Associate at IKS Heath, Quality Auditor:
• Started my role as virtual-scribe to listen patient-doctor conversation and generate a chart.
• Progressed to senior scribe, direct poster, mentor, new scribe trainer and Team quality Auditor.
• Handled elite providers of Shoulder Surgery and Hand Surgery of Massachusetts General Hospital (now MGB), Boston, USA.
• Hip and knee surgery MRPG, Milford, Massachusetts, USA.
• Scribed/ Quality audited for more than 150-200 MGH providers for varying durations, at varying positions and capacities.
• Briefly managed Care Mount Medical, NY, USA, Hip and knee surgery.
• Worked extensively with Primary Health Care during initial phase.
• Routine Quality Audits of ortho team: This role included but not limited to dipstick quality check within my team, Provider/ process specific training, process SOPs, provider vs scribe's note comparison, cascading the learning and feedback to the respective teams, devising new process-specific templates, visit specific suggestions, innovative suggestions, getting it approved, suggesting changes, streamlining the process, internal standardization and others as needed.

• Homeopathic physician, center head at Bakson's Homoeopathy, Mumbai, from 2005 to 2016, for 11 years in 2 stints.
• I started as an assistant homeopathic physician, progressed to a senior homeopathic physician, and eventually became the center head. Was responsible for running the Center, which included case taking, prescribing, follow-up, training new doctors, patient satisfaction, P/L optimization, manpower management, record keeping, PR, advertisement, and outreach.
• Managed the Lokhandwala, Khar, Andheri East, Mulund, Thane, and Borivali branches.
• Reported directly to CMD, founder and chairman of Bakson's Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, DrSPS Bakshi, former CCH president, mentor, and stalwart of the Indian homeopathic fraternity.

I learned advanced human anatomy, physiology, medicine, drug pharmacology, obstetrics and gynecology, preventative medicine, and the basics of forensic medicine. Implemented the theoretical knowledge to clinical practice sessions.
