RESPONSIBILITIES
● Plan, coordinate, and execute releases for a multi-tenant Platform as a Service (SaaS) product across cloud and on-premises environments.
● Continuous improvement to streamline release management processes, policies, and standards and identify automation opportunities.
● Create and maintain release schedules for bi-weekly patch releases and quarterly major releases.
● Develop deployment instructions for upgrades across versions and collaborate with the DevOps team.
● Conduct risk assessments and mitigate potential disruptions during release cycles.
● Coordinate release readiness activities, including testing and validation.
● Manage release documentation, including release notes and deployment guides.
● Oversee smooth deployment of software updates across deployment models.
● Monitor release progress and address issues and dependencies.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:
Change Manager:
Primarily responsible for the overall quality of the Change Management process. Mainly coordinator within this process and is the focal point regarding changes for both the customer and the IT organization.
Accepts, prioritizes, and categorizes change requests.
Rejects outright any change request that is completely out of scope or out of policy for change management.
Chairs the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency Change Advisory Board (ECAB) meetings.
Ensures that all preparations have been made for a CAB meeting, including creation of agenda, circulation of change requests to be considered and inviting of participants.
Has the ability to review all planned changes.
Obtains authorization for submitted change requests from the Technical and change Authority.
Ensure post review of exception changes to evaluate if the change addressed a real or a perceived exception condition.
Utilizes the Change Management reporting system to monitor and track changes.
Keeps track of end-user downtime or other dependencies for change requests.
Identify if any scheduling conflicts and suggest actions accordingly..
Identifies change Requests that have not been acted upon in a timely manner and takes appropriate action.
Ensures the changes are communicated in a timely and adequate manner.

Release Manager:
Responsible for managing the complete software delivery lifecycle follows up on all- stages from the planning phase to the deployment phase through the development and testing phases.
Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.
Forward plan the release windows and build the IT Release Calendar by working closely with different users and maintain a Release Calendar.
Carrying out post implementation reviews (PIR).
Attending regular Change Management Boards whenever required and conduct Change Assurance
Board meetings internally to decide Go-No Go of changes.
Managing escalations to support the Release process.
Identify and mitigate risks that can affect release scope, quality, and schedule.
Manage dependencies and co-ordinate releases across the different domains and various stakeholders.
Ensuring Release work conforms to quality standards.
Carrying out quality checks and risk assessments on the individual components of a release like SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) release control closures, change Implementation and verification task closures.
Plan the release windows and cycles on organization level, across multiple business units.
Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
Monitor and report progress along the way.
Work with Release Coordinators to understand impact of branches and code merges.
Continually work towards making improvements in the release process and tooling
Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
In addition to managing all releases this individual may also need to lead specific key projects.
PMO Analyst :
Responsible for tracking the PTS(Project Tracking System) Resource time entry in multiple projects.
Monitor and report publisher for the Iterative/Agile, Major/Minor/Work Orders Releases Artifacts based on the starts and end dates.
Tracking the CAP/BCM's for multiple projects and publish the report week prior to all project managers.
Creating the Iterative ID's/Release Sprint ID's/Work Orders ID's based on projects manager requirement.
