Summary

With over 20 years of experience in the information and technology field, including more than 10 years with ANZ Operations and Technology, I bring a wealth of technical and leadership expertise. My extensive working experience includes technologies such as Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and React-based frameworks. I have a proven track record in handling business requirement discussions and ensuring they are ready for the build, test, and implementation phases. As a production support lead, I have successfully managed an entire application support team and have hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian products. I have been involved in all aspects of project design, analysis, and the build, test, and implementation phases. With experience in RDBMS like SQL Server and Oracle, I am well-versed in ITIL methodologies such as incident and problem management. I have successfully managed the complete lifecycle of problem management. In addition to leading teams, I am also skilled in mentoring and guiding fellow team members or new joiners to a level where they can contribute individually. Efficient stakeholder management is one of my strengths, as I understand the highest importance is placed on customers or stakeholders. Front End Tool (FET) is a web based intranet solution provided to the Branch staff of the Pacific countries to help the Customers apply for a loan application. Objective of the solution is to enable Front Line officers in Branch to be able to initiate the Loan application for the customer and facilitate the Credit assessment officers to be able to analyse the application and make decision based on information captured and supporting documents.

Considering the competition in the market where more than one bank are offering the the same loan product with similar pricing , this solution helps in catering to the need to improve efficiency in the speed and quality of ANZ’s end to end response to customers to maintain a competitive edge over other banks. This project is built using React JS as the front end and Java Spring for the back end API code with SQL server being the database repository.

My role in this project :

  • Leading the Team on Requirement analysis, High level and low level designs, Code deployments, Test and Production support.
  • Developed an important feature of the project using Java Spring Batch technology to create an automated daily batch Job that pulls Customer data from upstream system.
  • Established strong working relationships with clients through effective communication skills, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Developed positive working relationships with stakeholders to effectively coordinate work activities.
  • Involved in day to day to reporting to stake holders regarding the progress and work stack
  • Presented technical findings to stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of project status and goals.
  • Developed cost estimates and project specifications for proposals.
  • Leading the Application support via the ITIL processes like Incident and Problem management
  • Facilitated knowledge sharing sessions on latest engineering trends, fostering culture of continuous learning among team members.

  • WFMT is Network Engineering Workflow and Engineering Project Orchestration tool that will manage various plan and build activities within BT Openreach
  • WFMT UI component is mainly used for interaction with iProcess (display work queues, work items and case working), project search, job-pack interaction and NIMS Page flow interaction
  • This project is built on a 3 tier architecture
  • The technology used for GUI is JSP/JSF
  • The middleware contains the business logic built using TIBCO BW and TIBCO Iprocess with the back-end processing is done in an Oracle 10g database
  • Managing the Development which includes requirement analysis, resource allocation, development, code reviews, estimates and Delivery
  • Leading development activities for WFMT Openreach team based on AGILE SCRUM methodology
  • Advises in the requirements, development and support of the application
  • Leading the Scrum calls as a SCRUM manager for daily development activities
