Responsibilities :

• Discussing with potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements, prepare the supplier list & get approval from client to issue tender in market.
• Preparing the Enquiry using ERP system and issue in global market as per approved vendor list using E-Procurement
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improvement.
• Contract negotiation for the commercial terms, optimal cost including quality and schedule requirements.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management reviews.
• Preparation of purchase contracts that comply with Project & company’s procurement policies and procedures
• Manage supplier relationships, including selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality standards, service level agreements, and contractual obligations.

Subcontracting for the EPCM project (Cauvery Basin Refinery, Nagapattinam) for CPCL (PSU client) for domestic/Global tendering using client portal or a new grassroot refinery of 9 MMTPA.

Responsibilities :

• Developed the Special terms & Conditions, format for Notice Inviting Tender & Inquiry for Bid and all associated forms following all the requirements of Public Sector Units with inclusions of all the related government notification & public policies.
• Handled purchase of material such as Static, Rotary, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation Items.
• Independently Handling of Tender activity of subcontract for the Hydrogen Generation Unit & Nitrogen Generation Unit based on Built, Own & Operate (on BOO basis).
• End to end Procurement activity as EPCM consultant e,g, preparation of the Tender, checking vendor details & ensuring their availability on the client portal before issuance of the Tender, coordinate for the pre-bid queries, arranging Pre-bid meeting, follow-up for the Bidder’s offer (minimum 3 for each tender), Bid evaluations for all the received bid irrespective of number of bids ensuring all the related forms are properly filled as per government policy & client procedure, raise TQ/CQ and arranging their response on time, preparation of Recommendation for the Price bid opening (RFPBO) & seek their approval.
• Reverse auction after price bid opening, preparation of Draft LOA & recommendation sends to client for the issuance of LOA/PO to the bidder.
• Preparation of Bidder qualification criteria for the open Tender where the total qualified/available bidders are less than 6 with respect to commercial & financial after checking the past track records of the probable bidders.
• Coordination with the client for each activity on a day-to-day basis.

Subcontracting for the Gas Pipeline project in Oman for Hiring of the services required for project construction at site e.g. multiple excavation contract (Trenching) on stretch of entire corridor of pipeline, Camp construction, HDD, Thrust boring, Cathodic protection, Piping Fabrication work, Piping fabrication at site, Erection & Installation, NDT, AUT & PWHT, PIMS, GIS and Asset Integrity Management, Compressor Station Civil work.

Project :

“EPIC - EPC 4 – 14 inch NGL Pipeline & 32 inch Gas Loop Pipeline” Project for OGC and ORPIC Plastic LLC. It was a 2 parallel Gas Pipeline in a single corridor (both side of the existing live gas line) of 300 Kms Fahud NGLE Plant to Sohar Petrochemical Complex (each for 14” & 32”) pipeline project for transporting the C2+ component extracted from natural gas at Fahud NGLE Plant to Sohar Petrochemical Complex.

Sr. Manager Procurement for Clean Fuel Project of KNPC, Kuwait. It is one of the strategic projects of Kuwait National Petroleum Company which aimed at upgrading and expanding the existing KNPC two refineries at Mina Abdulla and Mina Al-Ahmadi. Project cost is USD 4,680 million & executing in Joint Venture with SK Engineering & JGC Corporation
