- Working as a Technical Specialist, in Radisys India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, at present.
- Total experience of 13+ years in L1 Physical layer domain starting from 4G LTE – 4G NB-IoT – 5G NR technologies - ORAN based
- Being a Technical Lead – Staff Engineer – Technical Specialist, over time, handled various ORAN-based DU integration projects as a Scrum Master, across various customers in collaboration with various RU vendors, across the globe.
- Expertise in E2E ORAN based setup components, including knowledge on various RF connectors, RF cables, DU – RU connections, CISCO/DELL/Falcon Grandmaster switches.
- RU vendors with which I have worked are NEC, VVDN, Lions, Benetel, Sunwave, Prose, for various BWs as per the customer requirements.
- Beyond RCT evaluations completed for the above said RU hardware, with signal generators (such as Keysight VXT, R&S SMW200A), channel emulator such as Keysight Propsim.
- Automation scripts modifications using Python.
- AI/ML modem: CNN-based UL receiver (channel estimation, equalization, training with real RU data, and inference).
- Part of various Customer demos - Part of 5G NR NTIA challenge twice – Integration of 2 different OEMs (DU & RU), achieving the maximum throughput within a timeline.
- Features/3GPP channels worked on: Dynamic Phystats, PUCCH F0/F1/F2/F3, PUSCH enhancements (Noise estimation), UCI over PUSCH, UCI Prioritization feature.
- E2E features support such as Dynamic PUCCH feature, ACSI, SR detection failure issue debug, Multi CC architecture.
- Supporting higher layers (L2/L3) for developing new features in their modules, which needs interaction from L1 via Technical Discussions with cross-module owners.
- Experience in working with NVIDIA GPU A100 40GB card– Ownership of the task where we wanted to replace Flexran SDK modules into NVIDIA SDK source.
- Part of Project Proposal Team formed dynamically when required with POs.
- Efficient Issue Triaging & debugging in real-time (Internal | Field issues) using internal developed tools.
- Issue resolution in various DU servers, w.r.t DPDK binding, PTP sync issues (hardware support included), process management.
- In FR2 (mmWave), expertise built on Analog Beamforming concepts in the current working project - Impact on the system
- For NTN, helped the Radisys specification standardization team to decide on the re-usability of the RCT cases w.r.t TN.
- MATLAB script development for bit-exact model for PUCCH channel Tx & Rx side w.r.t Intel FlexRan code.
- Primary contributor on debugging issues in the Intel NBIoT Transcede code on T2K/T3K board, & responsible for achieving ATTACH with NBIoT UE.
