- Development of New Technologies (Production scale continuous flow process): Lead the project for low-temperature (cryogenic) lithiation under Continuous Flow for the production of novel anti-diabetic drug (Korea’s 36th Novel Drug Enavogliflozin). Role includes leading the development of the process, Reactor design and fabrication, process intensification under flow, scale up developments, process flow diagrams, production plant design and Layout (P&ID), supporting in URS, DQ, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ process and documentation, Engineering and commissioning of the production plant. Data collection for the process qualification (PQ), support for getting various government approvals such as PSM and Use of Hazardous Chemicals, Maintaining lab and pilot plant, prepare operation manual and maintenance SOP’s. Process validation (PV) is planned at ~10kg per lot in this pilot plant. Also developed Raney nickel catalyzed Packed-Bed Flow process for hydrogenation reaction in the production of Ursodiol (UDCA). Here also a customized hydrogenation flow pilot plant was constructed and successful Process Validation (PV) was carried out at a scale of 150 kg per batch in this plant.

Development of multi-step Camostat process (fast track PV within 4 months including development of process) for application in the COVID-19 treatment.
- Collaborative Research: Completed three research projects with academic institutions.
- Business Development: API from natural source (Cerebroprotein Hydrolysate, Pig brain extract) and development of new drug formulation studies for the niche market.
