  • As a Certified TUV FSE Senior ICSS Engineer, am responsible for designing, implementation, and maintenance of integrated control and safeguarding systems in SE-Asab plant ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations, complying with industry standards and regulations. Represent Instrumentation team in FAT, SAT, commissioning, HAZOP, and SIL assessments for new facilities. Participate and lead root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent equipment failures and develop SOPs, Risk Assessments , and maintenance plans for critical operations.
  • Accountable for maintenance and operation of Well Head Control Panels for oil and gas wells, flow meters, DCS/ESD systems, and field instruments, ensuring compliance with IEC61508/IEC61511 standards.
  • Responsibilities also include managing multi-phase flow meters, fire and gas systems, rotating machinery instruments like Centrifugal compressors/ pumps, and oil/gas metering systems, while coordinating vendor services for troubleshooting and equipment specification reviews.
  • In-charge of leading and coaching team of 80 instrument technician and new trainees, facilitate alarm management per EEMUA 191 standards, and optimize system performance by coordinating with the process team for safer and more efficient production. Additionally, also liable to conduct monthly safety briefings, participate in process safety audits, and ensure critical safety equipment meets minimum assurance criteria.
  • As part of the Emergency Response Team, obligated to participate in ICC sessions and large scale HSE mock drills. As a Performing authority role, I ensure safe work practices during confined space entry permits and other critical permits.
  • As Senior engineer, I prepare fund estimation and budget planning for critical spares procurement , vendor coordination , for existing infrastructure and future projects.
  • This role demands strict adherence to AGES standards, LOTO, and WMS and LSR systems, ensuring operational excellence and safety compliance.
