  • Spearheaded the cost optimization initiative where i was successful in bringing down the cost from 383K $/month to around 250K $/month
  • Several micro-services logs were being pushed to cloudwatch those were moved to aws hosted Opensearch to optimize further we moved ahead with self hosted ELK stack in the lower env.
  • Implemented various networking level changes such as 1 NAT per AZ in order to reduce cross region data transfer charges and endpoint for various services such as s3/cloudwatch/ec2/ecr/elastic-cache etc
  • Moved interservice call which was happening over internet to internal domain this helped in reducing the latency and our data transfer charges
  • Collaborated with SecOps team for a successful ISO certification audits where in i was responsible for patching any underlying vulnerability's reported on various resources
  • Since All Crypto apps were brought under scrutiny and all of them had to be registered under FIU guidelines, we integrated 3rd party vendor(Lexis-Nexis) in our Identity micro-service which was responsible for screening and monitoring users under a very tight timelines as failure would have halted our entire crypto operation
  • As part of this project i had setup the entire infra/logging/monitoring for this project which expanded across 3 different aws accounts and 4 different VPCs and it was quite challenging because of various cross account permissions/legal/Compliance bottlenecks
  • Setting up RabbitMQ broker and consumer as a EKS microservice along with it logging/monitoring
  • As part of FIU guidelines we also had to monitor the transactions in the app Trade/Withdrawal/Deposit we achieved this by integrating an external vendor (Signzy) into our payments and trade micro-service I created the entire pipeline/ infra/ logging/ monitoring part of this integration in EKS as a micro-service
  • Helped the team to migrate our infra/microservices from ECS to EKS as part of our Stabilty excersise as a result our uptime metrics improved considerably.
  • Successfully implemented HPA/probes/lifecycle prestop hooks for all our microservices making the cluster more scalable and resilient
  • Upgraded EKS cluster multiple time in various envs without any downtime
  • Taking Part in On-call rotation
