- I was involved in the 2 X 660 MW NTPC Solapur WFGD project as a Lead Commissioning Engineer. Responsible for carrying out distributed control systems commissioning in power projects within the scheduled timeline.

- It was a 6 x 500 MW NTPC Rihand power station. I was looking after the day-to-day maintenance and support activities of the Yokogawa DCS install base. Boiler and Turbine C&I maintenance, PM jobs, defects attending, budget preparation, instruments calibration, DCS maintenance, etc.
- Carrying out daily healthiness checks of a total of 48 AFV100D controllers and 42 HMIs (including EWS, OWS, and Station LAN servers). Carrying out logic modifications and HMI developments as per the new requirements raised.
- Supporting the operations staff from the DCS team for the online troubles related to Yokogawa systems. Taking backups of the systems (Project backups, Alarms backups, Historians) and saving them to external storage media. Assisting with shutdown and startup activities for the NTPC client.

- Main turbine and boiler auxiliaries equipment maintenance. TSI, governing system, ETS, TDBFP, CLCS. TG and BOP instrumentation maintenance and planning.
- Attending to defect orders generated through the SAP PM module by the operations team. I attended online defects and ran defects for instrumentation systems in TG Island 1 and 2.
- Attending shutdown and overhauling jobs, such as governing systems checks, calibration, and defects rectification, as per the notifications and shutdown opportunity tasks.
- Carrying out overhauling activities of the TG island, such as testing and calibration of TSI systems, Bentley 3500 (sensors linearity checks, deviation checks, and replacements). Reinstall after clearance from TGM.

- Commissioning and troubleshooting of Toshiba-made turbines, generators, and their auxiliary equipment/drives, and carrying out their protection and interlock checks from Toshiba DCS (TOSMAP) and Yokogawa DCS (Centum VP).
- Installation and commissioning of the vibration monitoring and analysis system (VMAS) and main turbine/BFP's supervisory sensors, such as bearing vibrations, thrust position, eccentricity, keyphasor, and turbine/casing differential expansion sensors.
