PitchBook Data, Inc. is a SaaS company that delivers data, research and technology covering private capital markets data, including venture capital, private equity and M&A transactions.

1) Working as Research Associate in the Pitchbook Data
subsidiary of Morningstar in the data operation team.

2) Part of Mergers and Acquisition data set. Collecting data of private companies across countries of North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia of different sectors and businesses.

3) Reviewing news, websites, and regulator filings to create an accurate view of the events and quickly extracting and entering relevant data in document format using Pitchbook's backend platform known as RTS.

4) Actively tracking deals of private companies such as regular
M&A, corporate round, corporate divestiture, reverse
mergers, joint ventures, mergers of equals, bankruptcy, standard private transaction (STP), and asset acquisition.

5) Working closely with the team for maintaining data hygiene. Researching and collecting special request private
companies data and submitting with in 24 hrs.

6)Evaluated investment potential of companies with thorough assessments of historical data, operational activities and future objectives.

1) In my 2 months of internship, I was able to understand the overall structure of capital market.

2) Helped clients to open demat accounts as well as made outbound calls for distributing investing products such as mutual funds, sovereign gold bonds, derivatives and margin trading facility (MTF).
