Core Responsibilities & Contributions :
- Spearheaded Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations across critical Asia region projects, managing end-to-end procurement cycles, including PO creation, supplier coordination, and invoice resolution in partnership with Accounts Payable teams.
- Played a pivotal role in critical shortage management by initiating supplier pull-ins, arranging NPI drop shipments (via DHL), and leveraging alternate channels, like brokers, distributors, and internal sister sites, to bridge urgent material gaps.
- Established and led daily and weekly supplier escalation calls, driving the resolution of high-impact shortages, and ensuring timely fulfillment through supplier collaboration.
- Achieved consistent weekly cost savings of over $1 million by driving aggressive push-out and cancellation strategies with major suppliers, such as Texas Instruments, Future Electronics, and ON Semiconductor.
- Served as the Quality and Audit SPOC, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, audit protocols, and process compliance across the team. Conducted regular audits to uphold delivery standards.
- Transitioned into the Acting Team Lead role: Managed client review calls and internal stakeholder meetings to present progress on shortage closures and inventory optimization. Mentored and coached team members, provided refresher training, and resolved escalations for improved team KPIs. Functioned as the Inventory SPOC for a 60-member team, driving high success rates in shortage resolution and maximizing cost efficiency.
- Engaged directly with senior leadership, including VPs and Directors, as a key contributor to the Global Headcount Penetration Project, aligning GBS and site resources to ensure optimal workforce utilization and cost control.
- Operated as the Accounts Payable SPOC, responsible for triaging and allocating payment resolution tasks to the appropriate team members for streamlined execution.
- Served as a liaison between technical experts and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Boosted team morale and productivity through effective leadership and clear communication.
